Now that I have been doing mediation for a while I have decided to limit my mediation practice to high end complex cases. I am also limiting the number of cases that I accept in order to devote the time and attention that these complex higher end cases require. I expect all participants to engage early and work extremely hard to resolve the case.

As a workers compensation attorney I have settled countless cases and tried more than I can recall. I have tried cases to 100%, dealt with MSA issues and vocational expert issues.
I am one of the few attorneys that is as comfortable handling personal injury as workers’ compensation. I have handled countless cross-over cases – cases that involve both. My mediation practice is limited to high end personal injury, workers’ compensation and cross-overs.

When the case involves serious injury and significant exposure, mediation is underutilized by workers’ compensation practitioners.
Crossover Cases
Cases that involve both personal injury and workers’ compensation. When your employer is not fully responsible for your accident, a third-party liability case may be possible. Very few mediators are experienced in Crossover Mediation Cases.

My office is in Walnut Creek, CA. I offer mediation services throughout San Francisco Bay area.
Mediation Resolution Rate is billed at the rate of $400.00 per hour [Effective January 1, 2023], including one-hour pre-mediation preparation and time in the session. There is no billing for administration costs and travel. The hourly rate is divided equally between the parties. There is no increase for multiple-party cases. Each party is responsible for a deposit of $400.00 to be credited against the final bill. The deposit is fully refundable in the event of cancellation.
